Seniors, with college decision day approaching on May 1st, check your inbox frequently for correspondence from the colleges and universities you applied to. Most schools communicate important admission information and provide helpful links via email.
You may receive invitations to “admitted student” events. These events offer a chance to take another look at the campus, ask additional questions and meet prospective classmates. This is a wonderful opportunity to confirm your decision or to help you decide from among your choices.
After you notify the school of your decision to attend and send in your deposit, make sure you re-read you acceptance letter and any correspondence from the school to confirm that you have submitted all required documents. At this time you should also notify other colleges that you will not be attending.
Now that you’re a member of the class of 2017, you’ll begin receiving many exciting emails requiring your attention! Be on the lookout for information regarding housing, roommate selection, course registration, orientation and summer events. In addition, expect to receive requests for information from the health office, registrar and bursar. Check your email regularly to ensure that you don’t miss deadlines and opportunities.
